New Trainer Onboarding
Onboarding a new trainer
Everything a new trainer needs to learn, receive, and demonstrate before they lead sessions on their own. Complete it on screen, or print and work through it together.
Use this template to onboard each new trainer consistently. Work through the sections in order over the first weeks. Check items off as they are completed, record dates, and finish with a sign-off from both the trainer and their manager.

Let them teach before they're “done.” The fastest way to build a confident trainer is a low-stakes practice session with a friendly observer. Use Section 8 early and often, not just at the end.
